PORTFOLIO PROJECT: MUSIC

This week, I have been looking into specific music I can use for our opening. Since the beginning of the opening is going to be the photoshoot, we need something upbeat and something you would probably hear on a runway/fashion show. 

I used to edit a couple years ago for YouTube. For the music, I used this amazing website called hello thematic! Here is the link: click here 

I was browsing on their website for quite some time, but I finally found two options that I liked. I was mainly looking for some upbeat music that would make it look like theres a real photoshoot happening. 

This was one of the songs that I liked. When I used to use these songs for YouTube, they did ask you to give credit to the artist. I could add the artists name to the opening itself. So it would look like "Music written and performed by: Anna Akana." 

Hello Thematic also provides links that you can easily copy and paste for easier and faster access. This is one of the many things I like about this website! The artists posting their music are really good and dedicated! So it's copyright free and it's good music. 

This is also another option that I liked. Both of the songs are great choices, and Grace liked them too! I can see them perfectly in our opening, and they would work great too! This is how the copy and paste tool would look like:

It's really easy to copy and paste it and simply put it into the opening when I start editing it. When we eventually start editing, we'll play around with the music to make it sound more suspenseful, or when the thriller aspect of the opening comes, the music can change. 

I'm very proud with our music choices! Can't wait to find more options.
