PORTFOLIO PROJECT: DECORATION
Good morning and happy Saturday!
During class on Friday, Grace and I did a lot of brainstorming. We started to talk about decoration for our opening and how we wanted the overall set to look like. We agreed on the location (my house) and where we're going to put the backdrop.

In our storyline, we included that we wanted some shots of some products on the vanity/desk the model fixes her makeup at, and some overall shots of the room. For this, we'll need some important decoration pieces!
In my previous posts, I talked about representation. The representation will be that the model is hispanic. One of the major props or decoration pieces that is going to be used in this opening is the Venezuelan flag. I have a little one that we can easily put anywhere.
There will obviously be makeup everywhere on the desk. But we also had some ideas for some posters we might put up. We want the posters to be Vogue posters in specific. I went to Amazon and all the posters were sold individually and for about $20. I then remembered that I can order poster prints at Walgreens.
So for the posters, Grace and I will agree on some designs that we both like and get them ordered to print! I'm thinking of ordering them this week or next week, so we can get started on filming!
