PORTFOLIO PROJECT: RESEARCH
Welcome back! Today, I took a little time to research some movies that I can take inspiration from while brainstorming for my film opening. Grace and I both want fashion and photography mixed into the video, so here are some movies that I came across that have to do with those specific things:
Cruella
The movie Cruella has amazing costume design. I was looking through the different costumes, and it was truly amazing how much dedication was put into it. Our costumes won't be exactly perfect or near the ones used in this movie, but we can take some inspiration from it.
The Devil Wears Prada
The Devil Wears Prada does an excellent job in showing both fashion and photography. So most of the inspiration might come from here. The movie is set around a character that gets hired to be an assistant of the editor of a major magazine company called "Runway." Even though our main character won't be an assistant, the character will be a model, and theres plenty of inspiration choices to choose from when it comes to this movie.
As for our film opening, it'll be a different storyline, but with a major rising question involved in it. I have some brainstorming ideas written out, but I have to discuss with my partner about them! For now, these are the brainstorming thoughts I have.
