PORTFOLIO PROJECT: LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
CHARACTERS
Hello all and welcome back! Today, I will be talking about the main character in the film. We have yet to make a name for the film itself, and we need to work on a conflict. We know that we want the character to be the model of the film. The film will consist of a female character. She will be the main character, and she will have some type of conflict.
We have decided to take some inspiration from the movie "The Devil Wears Prada." This movie has. some elements that we can use in our film opening.
Here are some of the conflicts we are thinking about for our opening:
- character struggling with self confidence
- character as a model not doing too well in her job
- another magazine stole ideas from her magazine
These are just some ideas that I think will be nice to implement in the video. As for the location and for the props, there will be another blog post about those details! For now, these are just brainstorming ideas for the opening itself. As the project is due in April, I think that it will be a good idea to brain storm and plan out the project very well until the the end of February, so that we can start recording as soon as possible.
Once we have all the key details and information that we need, we're going to start recording. We want to start recording as soon as possible, so that if there are any problems when editing, we still have time to maybe record again and fix those mistakes.
Overall, I'm glad of how this project is turning out so far! I'll be back with another post tomorrow!
