My Portfolio Project: A Level
FILMING THIS WEEKEND: SOME CONFLICTS
Hey guys! Happy Tuesday! Today was a pretty relaxing today in class, and we scheduled when we would start filming. Mari will not be here this weekend to start filming, so I thought we could start on something that doesn't need much assistance from all partners.
One thing that worked really well with our last documentary was the b-roll. We had a lot of b-roll so that the documentary itself wouldn't seem boring for our audience. For this documentary, I want to repeat the same process, because it's based off the same idea. Here are some examples of b-roll we used last time:
This was a time lapse that actually never made it into the documentary. It would've been cool to include it, so I think I'll do the same thing for this documentary. I'll also be posting it onto our facebook page (if you haven't, go check it out: facebook! ) so that our viewers can have a little behind the scenes action, and so that they know the doc is in progress and on its way to the screens!
Today I also posted a picture of me and my Dad on facebook, so that the viewers can see that the documentary will be starring a new person, and not just the same person as before! For our filming, we want to start this weekend. My Dad is back from his trip and I'm going to ask him when he can start. However, since he's not going to be the main attraction of the "episode," we can focus on me for the big part of the doc.
With Mari not being able to help us this weekend, Lucas and I will have to take over. Since Mari wants to be included when we start filming questions (for me and my Dad), we have to start those later. However, Lucas and I can start filming the b-roll (which we need a lot of) for this doc.
So I'll keep updating you guys on what's going on this week!
- Isa
*EDIT*
So Mari and Lucas have both gotten into an interesting encounter...
So Lucas tore his ACL in soccer the other day, and Mari hurt herself in color guard. I hope nothing happens to me since I'm the only one in the group left that hasn't been broken...
Anyway, this could affect our schedules with all the doctor's appointments especially Lucas will have because of his torn ACL. I hope this doesn't ruin our filming as much as we think it will...
